Winchester – £26-32k DOE + Study
Retail business with strong specialist brand seeks an assistant management accountant. You will work in a friendly finance team of 4 for this £4m TO business as the key business support to the For the monthly accounting routines. Producing the profit and loss and balance sheets for the business units.
The ideal applicant will have some experience of working with P&L and balance sheet recs but my client could hire at a more junior or senior level depending on what skills you bring, hence there is a broad salary range advertised.
Other duties include assisting with or taking ownership as skills develop: balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, fixed assets, cover for the AP clerk on holidays etc and other ad hoc duties.
My client is looking for a local person who enjoys working in a team office environment 5 days a week (with flexiblity for home issues where necessary). Study support in available (AAT or CIMA or ACCA) and benefits include free parking, 9-5, cycle to work scheme, pension and statutory holidays.
If you are looking to add management accounts skills to your CV as part of your career journey, this is an ideal role and can progress to a fully qualified management accountant in time. Ideally you will be PQ or QBE but keen to develop your skills. Advanced Excel skills while being organised, analytically minded and with good attention to detail.
