£45-55k (Including bonus Neg DOE) – Newbury – Hybrid Working
Large AIM listed IT/Telco seeks an experienced treasury analyst for a broad role, managing the function with the support of the head of tax while the company drives an ambitious groowth plan.
My client operates a hybrid working system with 2 days expected in the Newbury head office. Benefits are excellent and include a 10% bonus based on company and personal performance.
Main purpose of role:
The Treasury Analyst is a new role with the Group Finance Team focusing on cash management, intercompany loans and bank management.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Actively managing cash balances to maximise interest income
- Own the maintenance of bank account administration
- Supporting any foreign exchange requirements
- Managing intercompany loan positions and transfer pricing documentation
- Updating and maintaining compliance with Treasury Policy
- Supporting the wider Tax & Treasury team as required

Problem solving:
- Seeking to enhance the cash balance forecasting capability
Decision making :
- Ability to maximise interest income for different cash maturities and held with different banking partners with support from the Head of Tax & Treasury
Innovation:
- Seeking to enhance the cash balance forecasting capability
Communication :
- Banking Relationship Managers to attract the best interest returns possible
- Auditors to provide assurance on bank balances
Interpersonal:
- Building relationships with Banking partners
- Liaising with Internal senior finance colleagues to manager compliance with Treasury Policy
Key relationships:
- Banking Partners (about 6 banks)
- HO Financial Reporting, Overseas CFO’s
- Auditors
Experience and skills:
Preferably 2-3 years’ experience working in a small Treasury team. Experience with Treasury XPress preferred, but not essential. The candidate will be part qualified or able to study for an accounting or treasury qualification.
